Senses Hub is Africa's home of assistive technology innovation and research, where people with disabilities lead the co-design, research and delivery of technology that works for the continent.
Our Story
Senses Hub was founded in 2023 in Nairobi, born from real fieldwork in assistive technology co-design, testing and distribution across East Africa. We started as a hub for disability inclusion. We have grown into Africa's home of assistive technology innovation, research, co-design and distribution.
Our philosophy is simple: the best assistive technology is researched, designed and delivered with the people who use it. At Senses Hub, people with disabilities are our co-designers, researchers, innovators, paid contributors and decision-makers. We are African-led and evidence-driven, and we let outcomes, not sentiment, make the case.
