These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of senseshub.vision and your purchase of products from the Senses Hub online shop. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us

Senses Hub is an assistive technology organisation registered in Kenya and operating from Nairobi. References to "we", "us", or "our" refer to Senses Hub. You can contact us at sales@senseshub.vision.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order on our website. By placing an order, you confirm that you are 18 or over and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under Kenyan law.

3. Orders and Contract Formation

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products at the stated price. A binding contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email (or WhatsApp message) confirming your order has been accepted and is being processed.

We reserve the right to:

• Refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including for reasons of stock unavailability, suspected fraud, or pricing errors
• Limit the quantity of any product purchased per customer
• Cancel an order after acceptance if a product is found to be out of stock, in which case we will issue a full refund promptly

4. Pricing

All prices are displayed in Kenyan Shillings (KES) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We make every effort to ensure prices are accurate, but errors can occur.

• If a pricing error is discovered before your order is fulfilled, we will notify you and give you the option to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund
• We are not obliged to honour a clearly erroneous price (e.g. a product listed at KES 0)
• Prices may change at any time without notice, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed

5. Payment

We accept payment via M-Pesa and major debit/credit cards. Full payment is required before an order is dispatched. See our Payment Policy for more detail.

6. Delivery

Delivery timelines and costs are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. We will make every reasonable effort to deliver within the stated timeframe, but delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (including carrier delays, adverse weather, or public holidays).

7. Returns and Refunds

Our returns and refund terms are detailed in the Refund & Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, product descriptions, and design — is the property of Senses Hub or its licensors and is protected by Kenyan and international copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use our website for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent orders or account information
• Scrape, copy, or harvest content from our website by automated means
• Transmit any harmful, offensive, or disruptive content via our contact or review features

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for any breach of these terms.

10. Product Information

We make every effort to display products accurately, including images, descriptions, and specifications. However, colours may appear differently on different screens, and minor variations from product images may occur. Product specifications are provided by manufacturers and may change without notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from your use of this website or our products
• Our total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount paid for that order
• We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

Our website may contain links to third-party websites (e.g. manufacturers, delivery trackers). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of those sites. Visiting them is at your own risk.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts. We encourage you to contact us first — most issues can be resolved quickly and informally.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the version currently in force. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
